Alasdair is a Partner at XPS and heads the Investment team in Scotland. He has 23 years of investment experience, providing advice on all aspects of investment strategy, structure and manager selection advice to a range of pension schemes and other institutional investors. Alasdair is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries and has extensive experience in working in the not-for-profit sector, with both pension schemes and charitable endowments and Foundations. He also has experience in implementing various credit strategies such as buy and maintain, multi sector credit, and private debt, and he also is a member of the XPS Investment Committee.
Fixed Income Investment Specialist, Insight Investments
Andy joined Insight in August 2014 as a fixed income investment specialist. Andy joined Insight from GE Asset Management (GEAM) where he was a portfolio manager responsible for managing the Euro Fixed Income Fund. Prior to this, he held various portfolio manager roles at GEAM’s predecessor companies. He started his investment management career in 1997 at National Mutual Life as an assistant portfolio manager, with a focus on Far East equities. Andy graduated from the University of Bristol with a BSc in Economics and Economic History and is an Associate of the CFA Society of the UK.

Arun was formerly the Head of Asset Allocation and Portfolio Strategy at Standard Chartered Bank. He was part of Standard Chartered’s Global Investment Committee and the responsible for multi-asset and alternatives. Arun’s institutional background has been with Allianz Global Investors and Allianz Group as a senior portfolio manager and Country CIO. Arun has an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Masters in International Economics and Management from SDA Bocconi. He is a CFA Charterholder and a CAIA Charterholder. He is part of CFA UK’s Pension Expert Panel, Investment (Reserves) Committee, Inclusion & Diversity Committee (vice chair) and ESG Group. In his role with Cambridge Sustainable Investment Partners, which draws its expertise from Cambridge University, he works with asset owners, managers and institutions on integrating ESG.
Manager for Global Macroeconomics Research, National Institute of Economic and Social Research
Corrado Macchiarelli is Manager for Global Macro Research at the National Institute of Economic and Social Research. He is also an Associate Professor in Finance and Economics at Brunel University in London, and a Visiting Fellow in European Political Economy at the London School of Economics. Previously, Macchiarelli was an Economist at the European Central Bank and he has consulted for the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Swedish Riksbanken, and the International Monetary Fund. His interests are in international macroeconomics and finance, and political economy.
Head of rates and cash, Royal London Asset Management
Craig Inches is Head of Rates and Cash at RLAM, responsible for the management and oversight of RLAM's Rates and Cash business. Craig works closely with Paul Rayner (Head of Alpha Strategies Rates) and the rates team to manage a suite of solutions ranging from enhanced cash through sovereign and global bonds culminating in absolute return. Prior to RLAM, Craig was an investment director with Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, where he gained extensive cash and fixed income experience. Craig has an MSc in Investment Analysis from Stirling University, a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Mathematics and Statistics from Heriot-Watt University and is an associate of the UK Society of Investment professionals.

Head of European Short Duration,
Fadi is responsible for the management of the “Euro short duration” strategy. He is in charge of customized short term bond strategies principally for institutional clients. He is also in charge of investment solutions designed for Italian clients. He is a credit specialist. Fadi is the portfolio manager of 2 flagships funds of this strategy: BNP Paribas Bond 6 M and Parvest Enhanced Cash 6 Months. Fadi joined BNP Paribas Asset Management’s Fixed Income division in 2007 as an enhanced cash portfolio manager with a specialization in credit markets. Previously, Fadi worked for Crédit Agricole Asset Management (formerly Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management) where he held the positions of Credit Portfolio Manager in the Absolute Return division (2005–2007), Head of the Fixed Income, FX and Derivatives Trading Desk (2003–2005) and Credit & ABS Trader (2001–2003). Prior to this, he worked as a fixed income trader with Fideuram Wargny (2000-2001), after 8 years as an inter-bank, money market and fixed income trader with Liaud Courtage and Finacor. Earlier, Fadi worked as a fixed income futures trader with Banque Française du Commerce Extérieur in London (1990-1991), and as a money market trader with Banque Monétaire et Financière in Paris (1989–1990). He began his career in 1986 as a computer analyst on the trading floor with Morgan Guaranty Trust in Paris. Fadi holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management (1988) from the University of Paris–Sorbonne, a diploma in Corporate Law from the Institut de Droit des Affaires, University of Paris–Assas (1988) and a degree in Management from the University of Paris–Sorbonne (1987).
Chief Economist, AXA Group
Gilles Moëc is AXA Group Chief Economist since June 2019, and is heading AXA Investment Managers Research teams which is gathering euro credit analysts, macroeconomists investment strategist and ESG analysts. He was previously Chief European Economist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2014. Prior to that, he was appointed Senior European Economist at Bank of America in 2006 then became Chief European Economist of Deutsche Bank in 2009. He started his career by holding between 1994 and 2006 several positions in the French civil service, at the national statistical institute (INSEE) and at the central bank notably as head of the International Economics Division of Banque de France. Gilles graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris in 1991.

Jeffrey Matsu is Chief Economist at CIPFA. With extensive experience in connecting policy with practice through evidence-based research, he works with partner governments, accountancy bodies and the public sector around the world to advance public finance and support better public services. Previously, Jeff was responsible for market analysis and thought leadership at the RICS. He was also a senior economist at Morgan Stanley and served on the research staff at the Federal Reserve Board. Jeff holds degrees in economics from the University of Washington and Johns Hopkins University.

John is responsible for the management, oversight and strategy for the LGIM money market and short duration portfolios. John joined LGIM in 2002 and since 2008 has been managing money market funds and supporting the development of LGIMs liquidity management capability. Prior to 2008 John worked within Front Office Technology and Global Credit teams. John holds an MSc in Management from the University of Bath, Certificate in International Cash Management (CertICM), and is a CFA charterholder.

Julian Jessop is an independent economist with over thirty years of experience gained in the public sector, the City and consultancy, including stints at HM Treasury, HSBC, Standard Chartered Bank and Capital Economics. Kipp Cummins is Head of EMEA Fixed Income, a Vice President and a member of Dimensional’s London Investment Committee. Kipp provides oversight of the firm’s EMEA-based fixed income strategies and ensures implementation of Dimensional’s investment philosophy across the broader fixed income range. Additionally, he works with the firm’s Global Client Group to understand existing and prospective client needs and present the philosophy and performance of Dimensional’s strategies. Marcello Estevão is Global Director of the WBG’s Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Practice. He was Deputy Minister at Brazil’s MoF and G20 Deputy; Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Development Bank; chief economist at Tudor Investment Corporation; and researcher and manager at the IMF and the Federal Reserve Board. He holds a PhD from MIT and has published widely in refereed journals and elsewhere.
